we need a new tradition around here. it's a cheesy idea, but it for the metros this year, and hopefully we're headed in the same direction.
a complete overhaul of the organization is exactly what we need.
some of the things we need changed: (hopefully) a new coach, a lot of roster turnover (several people have reported this), A NEW LOGO, which pretty much goes along with the "slogan"- America's Hardest Working Team. Lose that all together, or at least the off field aspect of it. Our stadium looks like a temporary complex, supposedly because it fits the "hard working" image. we need to just lost that altogether. if we're the hardest working team on the field- good, but keep that attitude to on-field activities.
i can't think of anything else that needs changed, i'm sure there are plenty.

p.s.- i think i'm just pissed cuz greg hasn't been fired.

    I think so.

I love the logo. Makes sense if you've ever been to Columbus.

Its been talked about a bunch of times before, but I am definitely in favor of a new logo or crest or whatever ya want to call it.

Anyone with any artistic talent ever create another? I wouldnt mind seeing it.

I hope they never change the crest.

    I agree.

But the slogan could be changed, especially after the past season.

What I want is the "Winning Tradition".

I would like to see stars start appearing above the crest.

Unfortunately, with today's news ("Andrulis will stay") we're not going to get any new era in Columbus. Second verse, just like the first.

Anyone else think we'll promote Bob after game 6 when we tie Miami 0 : 0? (Hmm, I mean New England.)

There are a lot of things about The Crew I like, but the logo isn't one of them. It just doesn't look like something a young fan would ever trace on his notebook at school.
I also don't think it would make a very good tattoo--which, let's face it, is the criteria of a great sports logo.

I came up with this one, I think it would represent Columbus and the Crew nicely. However, like all things dealing with Columbus, the fans wishes don't count for anything and we'll just settle for mediocrity and repeating mistakes from the past ad nosium.

PM Brook for a picture. I think that tat looks pretty damn sweet.

I don't like the star idea. What will it represent? The only thing I can think of is a single star representing the number of years in a row we missed the playoffs (ala DCU's three stars).
