This gave me an idea, I hope no one resents an infrequent poster making a suggestion. To paraphrase a somewhat obscure Science Fiction TV series: "We win for Freedom, we lose for Freedom, but we don't lose foolishly."
She said something along the lines of: Mia's a great player, but we have Hege and Birgit. Individuals don't win championships, teams do. Implying that Mia was the entire team, and that everyone else was crap, basically.

Ah yes, there's the quote. Thanks, Kevin. I looked for that article, but couldn't find it. That's why I'm mad at Fotop. I never thought I'd be mad at Fotop, but with that quote, she managed it just fine

As you all may or may not know, one of my best friends got married on August 24th. I taped the game and checked the score after the wedding. Seeing that the Freedom had lost I couldn't bring myself to watch the game- until last night (ok, I just watched the 1st 15). Anyhow I saw a really great sign (did one of you make it??) that said "Freedom: More than a team, a way of life" How about we switch the subtitle to that- I think it is pretty telling for us fans. Whatever y'all think : )

i still think we shouldn't mention any one (or two) particular players in the subtitle-- but whatever- we still have the best team no matter what
I agree. that last one is clever but it falls right back into that whole debate. It sounds like a knock on our own team. Like that Fotop comment.
In a way we would be copying the "Moore" subtitle like what the Charge forum has. "The Freedom to kick your ass!" is sumpin' I like though!!!!
SunnyJah idea was cool. During the Founders Cup game, some people held up a sign that read: "Freedom: More than a team, a way of life" I have no idea who they were that wrote that, but I like it.
