Two teams enter. One team leaves.

CAN starts it off with a goal in 0:31.

Tancredi with a looping shot from 25 yards.

[DiCicco must think he's in hell with all the 'keeper gaffes in this tournament.]

Munoz needed to bury that rebound.

Except for the goal, Australia looks to be dominating...

Australia continues to give up great opportunities for Canada with bad defending although Australia has had the better of possession.

Barbieri is down in the area. Staff tightly wraps her left ankle and she soldiers on.

Yeah, but you have to give Bonnie someplace to expound on the virtues of Nordby and the rest of the Norwegian squad (after she's back from duty). ;)

The latest graphic said Australia has had 60% of the possession.

    WTF is a half-chance?

Be honest. Call it a "snowball's chance in hell".

Agonizingly close for the Aussies right there...hitting the outside of the left post on that last shot.

34': Canada player should have been cautioned on the corner kick. Clearly FRD after the AR had moved the defender back.

Pinball in the CAN penalty area still leaves AUS with naught.

Sermanni has to be telling his players to keep doing what they've been doing. After the first 35 seconds his charges have done almost everything right. The Matildas don't need to change a thing except which side of the post or crossbar they hit with the ball.

One thing that Australia has to worry about is Sinclair who was invisible in the first half. If she wakes up and begins to possess the ball at all then AUS may have problems.
