Good call, However... The Philadelphia Charge and San Diego Spirit are playing a friendly in the Rose Bowl on Sept 14 before the Los Angeles Galaxy meets the San Jose Earthquakes. I would rather see the San Jose CyberRays and San Diego Spirit play each other in a WUSA friendly and the Philadelphia Charge duke it out against the Arizona Heatwave... Regardless, a nice friendly... maybe, put a WUSA team in Phoenix... Cheers!
This is unfortunate. The Michelle Akers tribute game in Boston is being played on 9/14. Will Chastain and Venturini be in Boston to honour their long-time teammate or in Phoenix for a meaningless exhibition? Either way, someone will be disappointed.
