Proves even a lanky high schooler can keep a clean sheet against Werder.

Kohfeldt was tired of looking functional after including a couple players like Woltemade & Chong who could create, so they had to be snuffed out.

Well, that sure was 47 minutes of something.

    Not soccer, but something.

    Jazzed for the second half.

If a random person had to pick the bundesliga side and the 4th tier side they would probably have to flip a coin.

Also, have to switch the formation if you're the one leading the dance. 2 fw's who aren't really targets in the box. One wants to come back to the ball, the other run in behind. Play a 433 w/ Sargent as the 9, coming back & outletting to Chong, then making runs to join him.

He'll probably just do something like bench both fw's for 2 different fw's. It won't work, so the offense will devolve back to Bittencourt taking long shots over the defense. Hope for the best.

He'll leave them both on and just add more strikers until the eventual heat death of the universe.

Freaking groundhog day here. Just like after the restart, watching this team is so freaking boring. Zero combination play. What's the point of pushing wingbacks up when they can't hit a cross for their life?

Maybe this was something like that Fulham game? Wanting to reward the same players for escaping relegation? Whatever it is, it sucks.

    Selke stinks, so does Osaka.

Sargent had a couple decent touches early, but I don't think he made contact with the ball after the 20 min mark. Such a waste of time. Bring on the 2nd half!

Oof, Sargent wasted an amazing chance with some unnecessary generosity

    That would've worked in FIFA.

Sargent inexplicably chooses not to shoot on a 1-v-1 from an angle and absolutely ********s up the square pass to Selke.

    Remarkable.

Omg just a terrible play by Sargent. He was in behind the defense, should have shot, but then he chose to pass, which he botched.

scores a minute later to atone. Good overlapping run w/ Selke. Took the far post and snuck in the header.
