The miracle continues for the tiny Portuguese club. A 2-1 victory and advancement into the UEFA Cup. What a story!!!

A team from the II Division B, really a team from the III Division because portuguese Soccer goes like this
    Superliga Galp Energy
    II Liga
    II Division B
    III Division
    Districts Divisions
Its great know we have 4 teams to follow in the Uefa Cup. Great story I did watch the game in the first round in Leixoes a 2-2 draw.
a 2-1 win away its just great for portuguese soccer, special after they sold the best player Antchouet to Belenenses for 2 million euros, after the first game.

That's right. He didn't play today, did he? He was fairly dangerous against Sporting. This is truly a "Hoosiers" type of achievement.

Hopefully, there are still a lot of very good clubs involved in the tourament, so it certainly will not be easy for any team. I like the chance of Porto and Sporting, especially when JVP returns on October 17.

Congratulations to Carlos Carvalhal the coach.
With a new small stadium, capacity around 15,000 they should go far.
Congratulations to Brito and Nene the goalscorers.
First game of the season they did beat Gondmar 1-0 at home.
    goal scored was Detinho

II Divison B its harder then II Liga, because II liga three teams will move to the new Super League, the II Division B only one team moved to the next League.
Marco had the same amount of points as Leixoes, in last year competiton and were the only team to move up, from the North Division.

Thursday Jornal A Bola, the morning of the game, they almost didn't let Brito one of the goalscorer's in the country, of Macedonia, they were told Cape Verde Island is not in the World Map.
I guess after the game they know were Cape Verde Island a ex portuguese colony his.
