The second leg will be held in France Wednesday evening. Auxerre scored a 1-0 win in Porto two weeks ago, so Boavista will have its work cut out.

Here is Boa's roster: Ricardo, William, Paulo Turra, Eder, Sanã, Pedro Santos, Martelinho, Mário Loja, Saul, Duda, Jocivalter, Ávalos, José Pedro, Jorge Silva, Serginho, Bosingwa, Luiz Cláudio, Jorge Couto, Alexandre Goulart and Ico.

Sanchez and Silva will miss the game due to injury.

Italian super-referree Pierluigi Collina will be officiating the match today. The balding, bulgy-eyed Italian has one of the most recognizable faces in global soccer today. See attached for his personal website:

The aggregate score is 1-0 Auxerre, and Auxerre has an away goal.

A 2-1 win for Boa would allow them to advance.

    Frank,

Good to see that you are back? How was your vacation?

Still scoreless at 56'. Portuguese clubs have now played 320'+ without scoring a goal in Champions League play.

Near goal by Cisse on a set up from Fadiga. It sounds like Ricardo made a great save.

Vacation was great, I am glad to see everybody his making money, nobody his complaining they happy with the euro money.
A big complain is about the way Mourinho pressure the referee on Sunday game.

Boavista tied 0-0 and his out of the European Cup and will play in the Uefa Cup.
We still have Sporting, Porto, Boavista in the Uefa Cup. I don't think Leixoes his going to win twomorrow's game.

Game over. Nil-nil draw. Boavista to the UEFA. Hopefully, a couple of the Portuguese clubs can make some noise in the UEFA. No Champions League glory this year after a good run last season.

Mourinho he was red card in the game for abusing the fourth official and the referee. Belenenses just played a smart game and Neca had another excellent game, scoring both goals.

I was very disappointed with a Bola newspaper and the Record they had no mention of the MLS but a lot of news about the the upcoming World Cup of Basketball, some baseball about the strike.
Sport TV did televise some WNBA games.
