Thankfully Todd's suspension has been overturned and Khizanishvili looks to be healthy, so we'll be able to put out a somewhat normal backline.

I have a feeling we'll rebound from the showing at Portsmouth. Hopefully the guys will prove me right.

Anyone have an audio link? I'd like to listen to this one. I reckon it should be pretty entertaining.

    My prediction?

    Rovers 2-0 Everton

I doubt there's any free audio out there for this one. I'll be sneaking my headphones into class so I can listen to it via Rovers World as I pretend to take notes. :D

Five minutes into the second half...

    Goal Blackburn!

The ball is played out wide to Morten Gamst Pedersen, he controls the ball before finding Bentley who ran into the area, the ball comes back to Benni McCarthy and the South African curled the ball into the back of the net.

    Rovers 1 Everton 0

pretty scrappy at times in this game, but it sounds like we're defending pretty well. Everton have had nothing more than the odd half chance.

Everton's had alot of possesion lately. We need to slow it down a bit and stop hoofing it about.

    Gallagher on for Bentley.

and to update, Everton has already used their subs.

    Lescott on for Stubbs, 48'
Cahill and McFadden on for Kilbane and Beattie, 64'

sounds like he's been fading in more centrally since he's come on. He's still a striker at heart, obviously. :D He's still learning the position, so I'll forgive him for that.

So disappointing to give that goal up after some decent defending throughout. It sounds like Todd may have been caught ball watching.

McFadden's initial attempt hit the post, but Cahill, as usual, was there to put it away.

first half was good kept passing about and creating a few chances but as soon as we score we sat back gave the ball away to many times and that let everton come on the attack which was supprising because in the first half we were never troubled in defence but is really was a very slopy goal to give away but at least we are on the board with a point
