1-0, Arsenal. Henry on 9 minutes, as the City GK Vasanen punched it into his own sidenetting.

Wiltord makes it 2-0 on a picture perfect break on a counter. Couldn't draw it up better on a chalkboard.

MLS-Abroad Stern John just wasted a great opportunity provided by the Arsenal defense.

    2-0 to the arsenal

Arsenal are completely dominating and they had a few chances that easily could have been goals. Henry's free kick should have been saved and Wiltord ran in virtually unchallenged.

The City defenders are not picking up the runs coming straight into the box at all.

Unless they come out with a quick goal and turn things round I could see this ending 4 or 5-0.

Wiltord just onside and goes in on the keeper but half volleys it wide to the left just past the post.

Yep, on the second goal, he got fouled (but got the ball up to the strikers) and was subbed off a few minutes later.

You would think steve bruce would be desperate to get Jovan onto the pitch at this point (down 2, 65th minute). JK must have gotten a pretty good knock in training or SB is throwing in the towel on this match saving him for the home rovers match next weekend. I don't believe throwing in the towel is valid because JK could use at least 30 minutes of playing time to get into the pace and ferocity of the EPL no matter what the score today.

Cisse with a second yellow in the second half, he's gone. Down to ten men, 74 done.
