Hannover already down a goal. Borimirov scores in the 5th minute.

No mention of Cherundolo in the match commentary. It sounds like it's a pretty average match: "No team should earn 3 points after the performances they had in the first half. "

50' gone: Cherundolo involved in the first good chance of the second half. He serves the ball into Stajner, who pounces on it, but can't control the ball and shoots it over the goal.

Lauth with a goal at '90 to seal the win for 1860.

Sounded much different in the TV. They sold it as one of the best games today (indeed looked good what they were showing). Hannover played very nicely, but completely ineffective. 1860 was quite the opposite: waiting and dangerous. They even hit the post twice additional to their 3 goals. Steven wasn't much seen. He was slower than Lauth in the 1 on 1 to the 90th, but that can happen if you're playing all or nothing. He wasn't involved in the other goals. Again Hannover's problems got evident: central defence and center.

In the sportal.de Match Centre as above, are the numbers to the right of the player names ratings?

    21 V Cherundolo 5
    20 V Sanneh 3

If so there is a real descrepancy between sanneh and Cherundolo.

Sportal.de is giving ratings according to the German school mark principle (1 to 6 with 1 being best; unlike kicker no .5 ratings). If you're already arguing with kicker, then you shouldn't take a look at the sportal.de ratings as these are completely journalistic crap.

I'm confused. The Sportal.de ratings from the Hannover match range from 5 to 8. I'm guessing the possible range is 1-10 (but that'S just a guess) with 10 being to the best. That would mean that Dolo was rated as one of the worst players on the pitch, and Sannah had a dog of a game.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't look it up this time. Last week I checked one game that was in the 1-6 scale, shook my head because of the ratings and didn't dare to check it a second time. Probably they changed it this week, which also is quite logical as their predecessor sports.com also had the 10-1 rating. As I said, I didn't see much of Cherundolo and assumed that he rather had an average game; regarding Sanneh this rating also was my impression.

Stupid Question: Is Conor Casey still with Hannover?

Yes but he is still out from surgery in the offseason.
Not sure of his return date.

Kicker says September, but doesn't say whether it's rather 1st or 30th.

kicker rates Cherundolo 4. In the referee criticism they wrote that 1860 should have been rewarded with a pk after Cherundolo played the ball with his hand - no idea about that, the TV stations obviously didn't find it worth mentioning.
