Austen Everett was a collegiate soccer player for UCSB and Miami before she was stricken. Since then, she and Matt had been working on a charity to connect children with severe illness with team sports.
I had heard about her fight and that Matt flew back often. Prayers going out to her family and Matt. No one that young should die - before having the chance to live.
