Check it out: http://www.bulldogsupporters.com/events/detail.php?eventID=97 This is for a great cause and a good idea.
I signed up for two shifts each day and then realized that's 8 hours. I was pretty beat up after just playing circle-kick last weekend for 2 hours, so I thought it was best to lower it down to 4 hours. Should be fun!
No big surprise that it is canceled....Those guys don't do anything for charity. It is all a ploy to get you to the bar. For profit supporters groups don't work.
i dont think it was... cottonmouth you are a ********ing tool kindly go bend yourself over and ******** yourself with a rusty railroad spike you ignorant douche...seriously if all your going to do is flame... GET ********ED AND GO ELSE WHERE...********
OK Jon I appreciate the comments are uniformed & can be seen as inflammatory but there is no reason to call a fellow Rapids fan names. As I prefer to stick to the facts I tell you what we know: 1. The 72 hour game will not take place on the weekend of Sunday July 3rd. 2. No decision has been taken as to whether the event is postponed or complate cancelled. 3. We will release a statement with more information in the next 24 hours. 4. The BSG shuttle & tailgate arrangements for the game are unchanged. Obviously we apologize to anyone who signed up or sponsored players for this event & appreciate that people would like to know why this has happened. However I do not want to post something that turns out to be incorrect at this time.
We can confirm that the 72 hour Marathon Match has been moved to the Rocky Mountain Cup weekend in October. Here is a full statement: http://www.bulldogsupporters.com/news/article.php?newsID=26
Is this taking the place of the Supporters Tournament between Colorado and FSL this year, since MLS's asinine mid-week scheduling prevented the leg in Salt Lake from happening?
Wow Jason, give us a chance! If Salt Lake are able to field a team (given that it's a Friday night etc.) I'm sure we'll find a way to work it into the rearranged 72 hour game.
Didn't mean to step on your toes. I was just curious if it had been discussed or not since I know there was some talk back during the first RMC match that it would just be scrubbed for this year.
