Perhaps I should have elaborated but they seemed to force it for a long span much to their own detriment.

Yeah mount looks like he could be a really good connector + high energy presser. If you have mount, kante and havertz that is a really interesting and balanced mid field IMO

it feels like chelsea are setup to give an average back four way too much responsibility in building the attack

2 key passes, earned penalty, a couple other ‘hockey key passes’ (or passes which led to a pass which led to a shot). So much fun to watch Pulisic do his thing!

Roman is opening the checkbook. I bet they get havertz and a couple decent defenders this window. Every gen Z player wants to play for the PL's icon they grew up watching.

Gotta figure Pulisic gets subbed pretty early if the score holds.

Maybe at 3-0, otherwise I don't trust this defense to hold a lead.

Yeah, he's played a ton these past couple weeks, and they play again already on Tuesday. And Watford seems to have absolutely nothing going offensively.

Or Pulisic is drawing too much attention to warrant a pass... ?

Chelesa look a funny combination of toying with Watford and tired. Think Frank might bring some fresh legs in response to Watford's second and third subs here.

Watford have 0 shots on target and haven't had a multi-goal game since the restart. I think this is a pretty safe lead.

Edit: 0 shots on target in their last game too. Woeful attack.

Two quick Foster decent saves in succession. Situation really calls for 3-0. Giroud down and water break - it's time for fresh legs. Even just Abraham for Giroud.

pulisic doing some good work defensively but really just keeping the ball for the most part whenever he's going forward.

Frank waited too long to make these subs, but here they finally come. RLC CHO and Abraham make me think CP is coming off.

That was Watford's first shot on target in 191 minutes.

Wow, it's Mount, Giroud and Willian off. Pulisic still on, but two subs left.
