Weather delay from what I understand - lightning related I would think.

    What was the crowd size?

You're right, it must be pandemonium.

Seems like Minnesota takes down an MLS team every year.

Great game. Crowd size was just under 2500 I think.. Horrible day 90 degrees and humid today...so I am not surprised.

Thunder controlled the midfield for about 95% of the game. Clint booted two out of the stadium :p

RSL first goal was a penalty...the rest were all against the run of play...with bad defensive lapses from the Thunder. RSl were playing really slow and gave the Thunder tons of time on the ball. Got really funny when Selolwane and Tremblty, both of RSL started yelling at each other. Aaron Paye of Minnesota got two goals.

    Bring on Colorado.

what a wild night around the country... shame the sport isnt as big as we'd like it to be and the Open Cup have the importance of the FA Cup.

A truly unforgettable game! Aaron Paye pulled his hamstring in about the 116th minute and was limping through to the final whistle. It kind of reminded me of that Kellen Winslow moment after the Chargers beat the Dolphins in that overtime playoff game.

All 6 goals were on quality shots. Just a great game. The supporters section was rocking like no other in overtime. I'm so exhausted from chanting and standing that I almost feel like I played in the game! :p

"Chivas scored 5, WE SCORED 6" was the chant of the game!

    Helluva a game.

And to think I almost didn't go.

I hope Paye's OK. He sure saved our butts.

Between the Blue Sky's "Cletus" and "polygamy" chants, it was a fantastic time. Many quality goals...except that BS gift penalty the Mormons got.

    Bring on the (C)Rapids.

Not that ussoccer.com would tell you this. Luckily the Richmond Kickers site does.

Rep! (I'm out - can someone cover for me?)

BTW, Roberto Mina scored a goal from the center circle in the Dallas-Wilmington game.

    :D
