game over. final score line 5-1 to the blues CFC goals: 1st half: duff, c cole 2nd half: robben, Jarosik (2)
nope fil's a london boy of portuguese parents, he's been with chelsea for several years from youth & reserve, before mourinho got here.
The younghouse kid looked like he was 11 years old. I was hopeing he would do something special. Robben looked great.
Sky just showed the goals, Robbens looked the pick of the bunch, although that lash from Duff (left footed) was sheer power on the ground.
i thought cole's strike was pretty sweet to be honest, considering the bounce, angle of the ball and all that jazz,as it came to him.... impressive finish.
Del boy should have had one. Just outside the six yard box, dead center of goal, great cross from Duff(?) and he powered a header just wide of the keepers right hand post. Jurassics were two good lashes, through a crowded box and right into the bottom corners of the net. Yes, Cole did well.He got his body up over the ball to enable himself to hit down on it with a powerful strike into the net.
they didnt show much of del, just a fine headder slightly off target from a duff cross, and going on just that alone the boy looks pretty handy alright in the air,as so many reports have recently suggested. Jurassic bagged a brace alright, first was a pretty scuffy shot down low to the keepers left from a robben cross, the second had some build up between himself and robben with Jurassic kind of fumbleing past a defender, getting a bit lucky but finished with a half decent shot low again to the keepers right this time.
Mourinho went into length about what he expects from C Cole. "change his outlook on his job, his way of life, his outlook on his future, I offer him a big chance to learn from Drogba, Lampard, Terry - he understands he has to grab it with both hands"
the boys got great potential alright and infairness he is being given a great chance now to push on and really improve himself, lets hope he makes the most of it. big season for the lad.

Less familiar names who might enjoy an opportunity are 17 year old left-back Jonas Elmer, signed in the summer from Grasshoppers of Zurich and one who has trained regularly so far with the first team; from CFC site
21. From my opinion Del Boy was going foreward tooooooo much. It wont hurt us agains Wyg, but the premiership elite will make us pay for that.
I think we have ample cover for when a fullback goes forward, Fereirra himself hardly goes forward, Lampard plays much deeper these days, Our centerbacks our rocks, and that little number 4 always hanging around looking for intruders.
That's his style. He tends to go up a lot. I'm sure Chelsea knew that when they signed him. I don't think this will be a problem, as long as someone covers him. and I'm sure Mourinho will teach him to limit his runs. I remember in some of the games toward the end of the season, Gallas was going up a lot as well.
Oh of course, and if you saw him go up agains wigan, he was a threat almost everytime, so obviously there is a huge advantage to having him make some runs foreward. Im sure morinho wil have him be a little bit more selective to when he times those runs, but i think he will be a great attacking FB.
Elmer looked quite useful. Still only a lad and all that but got up and down well and put a foot in when required. One for the future methinks. Del Horno was also good although, as some have said, was a bit TOO adventurous if it was an EPL game. Mind you, it wasn't, was it so we'll have to see the lad in a real game to be sure. Will probably start against Milan I'd have thought so that'll be interesting.
