Pulisic has probably been the best of a bad lot. Sheffield's gotten behind the ball and been hard to break down. W/ it moved the ball quickly to cause Chelsea problems and make Blues build up.
thats my problem with mount- when hes on the same side as pulisic all he does is get in the way. shift him under willian, who doesnt have the legs to exploit space, put kovacic/jorginho behind pulisic so hes not having to dribble around his own teammates. also, they should consider finding a single passable defender/keeper.
Zero chemistry out there for Chelsea. Barkley so slow on the attack, pass is 10 feet behind pulisic, azi picks it up and again just no spacing and then tammy and pulisic not on same page at all.
Willian is having one of his poop games. Barkley is playing like Barkley. Abraham is displaying Zardes-level touch. As is Mount. Pulisic looks a bit disinterested. The defense is offensive. Kepa got an assist on his one save. Did I miss anything?
Pulisic coming so far up to pickup the ball never works for the US or Chelsea. Indicates shit midfield play.
