5th consecutive start for Pulisic as Chelsea head to Yorkshire to face the Blades of Sheffield United.

Chelsea are 3rd in the league and have won 5 of 6 matches since the restart.

Sheffield United have surprised basically everyone this season, having once challenged for the Champions League places. They've fallen off the pace since the restart, but have rebounded in recent weeks with wins over Wolves and Tottenham, and now sit in 7th place.

Kickoff is at 12:30 PM Eastern on network NBC.

Don't think Tammy is good option up top against this opponent.

Tammy plays like a lightweight, going to get neutralized by this physical defense.

Also, SHU scores all their goals off of corners. Would rather see Giroud come back for those.

Have a feeling Chelsea is going to give up a goal from a corner this game.

I am calling it 1-2 Chelsea WIN.

Yes. As tall as Tammy is, he rarely ever won a header. Kind of like Jozy. These dudes are just extremely weak in the air.

That switch does seem odd (from our perspective). Giroud for 60', then Abraham for the final 30' has been working.

Midfield looks shallow, though Jorginho should be a workhorse today.

Jozy's only listed at 6'1" (I've met him, I'm not sure he's that tall tbh), Abraham is somewhere in the 6'3" to 6'5" range. A few inches make a big difference.

    That's what she said.

They play the same way tho. Jozy is bulkier than Tammy but they never, or hardly ever, position themselves to use their body to win the ball.

Tammy and Jozy both have bad anticipation and bad balance. Tammy you feel like he's playing on skates out there at times.

Anyways, curious to see if Tammy has learned how to play with Pulisic and vice verse a bit today.

Chelsea midfield is going to have problems with this aggressive press.

95% of players just let it run out past them.

I think most fans overrate their academy kids though.

fair play to them, just easy to see the bias as a more neutral observer.

really nice from chelsea, tiring the Sheffield press but azi hits a poor cross.

willian first real poor touch, sends another cross over the line. chelsea settling down now into possesion.

That one's all on Mount. Horrifying decision to try to dribble out.

I thought James blew his positioning too, but Christensen ********ed up twice. One in not switching on to McGoldrick in the first place, two in not tracking him when James needed to switch to the guy taking the volley. He touched McGoldrick as he ran by though. Great effort.

Zouma should have done a better job tracking McGoldrick too.

Turnover, and then was beaten off the dribble trying to make up for it.

Most on Mount, but not all. It was a scramble after that, but Kepa didn't need to parry that in front. Worst place. Feel like he could do better on most goals.
