I wouldn't keep Jaqua on for much longer. He's not very effective tonight.

evans and ljungberg have been fine in my opinion.

In my view, there are 2 things to fix. Zakuani has passed two very dangerous passes back to the defense; if any of the quake forwards press forward when he has the ball, they could easily intercept those passes.

Sturgis needs to stay flat with Hurtado and Marshall. With convey playing centrally, our central defenders could be stranded 2 vs 3.

I'd put in LeToux, fast, high work-rate. Played that position in the USL.

I'm very surprised scott isn't playing. Sturgis is an adequate replacement, but I don't think Scott played too poorly to merit a switch.

totally agree; Sturgis has played pretty well, but he's been out of position a couple of times which makes me nervous.

    that could work, too.

On another note, it's beginning to dawn on me why a euro club only offered a few million for montero. Not very consistent, is he?

He's very skilled, but he also seems very immature. If he can get over the idea that he has to score every goal he'll be awesome.

How about moving Ljungberg up top, move Evans to replace him in the middle and sub Seba in to play right wing.

Yeah, the last couple games he played really well, he looked up more often when he had the ball, now it seems more like he wants all the glory to himself.

Sigi needs to talk to him about this ASAP

hahaha, the SJ announcers are drooling after ljungberg.

"He's got money, looks, and ability. What more can you ask for, huh?"

jaqua's looked clumsy. i'd rather see ljungberg and montero play up top together. or montero and le toux.

I wonder if the producers gave the commentators a note to talk about how much they want to bone Freddie Ljungberg.

sounders played good in the first half but the second half could me something to forget. jaqua didm't play well and like i said before looked clumsy on the ball.

imo i wouldn't change much for the next match. except maybe take jaqua out and replace him with le toux, or play montero and ljungberg up top. i still think ljungberg should be on the wing because that's his natural position.

man, was i happy to see keller back in goal. oh, and just wished they'd stopped with the confetti, made it so hard to watch on mlsnet

great win, chicago should be a good test.

Yeah 2nd half was a snoozer.

    Woohoo! Keller still undefeated!

Win was great. Jacqua was awful. His touch was somewhere between poor and embarrasing and he played so well those first few games. And is it just me or is JK Hurtado the most underrated player on the Sounders, possibly the league? He was a monster tonight on the backline.

We did Us Versus Them 2 or 3 times during the match. All in all the first half I felt was the best ECS showing yet, we kinds tappered off a bit in the second half though. It was definitely a fun match to be at though.

I will listen for it on my recording and see if I can figure out when we were singing that one.
