Interesting. Obviously that takes into account strength of schedule - and with only 12 teams, and an unbalanced schedule, I'm thinking that you can probably put about half-weight on his rankings. Certainly, there is something to the fact that the East has only one dog whereas the West has at least two, and for most of the season so far, three.
NE & FCD are given at 1 & 2, switch 'em around anyway you like. what stands out for me is DCU ranking that high!?
awwww c'mon it's Tuesday. I was giving advice of where to put in on the Guadalupe in the SJ boards.... besides It's good for Kevin. Keep his damn objectivity and silly facts in check.
Did you notice that no one ever gets out of the damn creek to use the bathroom after drinking all that beer? Quite a buzz kill ! Same thing at the sea w/ all that shark whizzz everywhere .
Just being blunt, not being short - Team X beats the No. 1 and No. 3 team. Name me someone else who should be 4 other than DC.
Frio is a little more out of the way so it's quieter. Plus it's frio. Guadalupe is like college central dude. It can get seriously jammed. Then there's that warm patch of water that drifts by every so often. Mind you, then you get to go by the Grist Mill in Greune. Best.crushed.peppercorn.steak.with.lime.butter.sauce.ever
Jonno quite the foody.... The Pepper Fillet...He's spot on... If anyone is in the area.. http://www.gristmillrestaurant.com/
Hey, the way LA is playing on the road, you may join them. Seriously - they beat the one team who had not been beaten last week, along with winning against one of two teams that had beaten Dallas. Again, who would you put ahead of DC? (Yes, I do suggest you bring some justification.)
I love the Grist Mill! Try the queso burger and the Margaritas are to die for! I don't know what this has to do with the power rankings, but I couldn't resist!
I'll bite on that one....how about San Jose? San Jose beat LA (team that was ranked #4 last week) San Jose has tied New England and Dallas, the teams ranked #1 and #2 (granted, at San Jose..) San Jose tied DC United (granted, at San Jose...) Quakes: 1.50 ppg; DCU 1.46 ppg On the Dallas vs New England thing, sorry all you Dallas fans, but I have to support Kevin on this one (but only slightly...Dallas has been impressive. Look forward to Saturday's game)
Interesting idea, but I think the flaw comes in with your parentheticals. And I'm sorry, but tying Chivas twice is a stain that doesn't wash off quickly (even if the game in LA was in part due to a bad call.)
Yes. And depending on what DC does, they might pass DC. If DC smacks Chicago around, they probably stay ahead of San Jose. But the Qlash surely will move up in terms of being in the second tier and pushing for a top spot with the win. Of course, that is all contingent on the word "if."
