Off to watch the game, I don't think it will be a simple game as some do, but i'm still confident about the win. 3-1 prediction.
Line Up: -------------------- Ambrosio ----------------- Melchiot ----- Terry ------ Gallas ----- Babayaro Geremi ----- Lampard ----- Makelele ----- Cole ------------Crespo ----- Gudjohnsen------------- Subs: Sullivan , Hasselbaink , Duff , Parker , Huth
Great start! apparently a smooth passing move with Joe Cole with the killer pass for Melchiot to score. 1-0 to the Chels, more of the same please... Anyone else in here? No live telly in the UK so am Big Bluing
Great news but my luck has ran out. Socceraudio.com doesn't have the free Big blue audio stream up no more. I guess next year I will have to pay for it.
bother! sounds like we're a mess at the moment. mistake by terry lets camara in and scores and kennedy just missed a chance. 1-1
Smattering of booing going on there at the end from the home fans - clearly thinking that a goal fest was on the cards no doubt. Still, 45 mins is a long time in football and we could very well score three times without reply in the second half. Remember old Clough and his one second quote.
Um, now thats an interesting move at the half. Gudjohnson off and Duff on - moving J Cole up the front with Crespo. Tinker, tinker.......
Good grief - 1-2 - Craddock. It'll be all hands at the back from them now then. Ambrosio flaps and free header leads to goal. Not over yet by a long shot, but, given the trouble we have breaking teams down that intend to defend in numbers, it'll be tough to score twice. *Curtains for sure for Ranners if we lose this game (although i think he's a gonner anyways)
apparently ince and rae are having a field day in midfield... what's happening to lampard and makelele?
To be completely honest i have been uninspired with Makelele for quite some time now. His form went out the window when Veron went down.
Cracking strike from Lampard - well worth watching on the telly. Pull back by Duff and he let fly with at least a 25 yarder
makelele must've heard you clan... did good to track back and win the ball after a bad pass and was influential in the 2nd goal
Simply fantastic goal from Hasselbaink for his 100th. All Jimmy as he ran at goal and simply thundered the ball - straight as a frozen rope - into the botom right of the goal. Pure Hasselbaink of old there - all power and strong running.
What a difference Duff has made since coming on. He's made another goal and is playing quite well, Crespo is simply awful to tell the truth.Baba having a bit of a mare all game long as well it must be said. Want terry to add the 5th - i did say we could score three in the second half
