Bob gave Freddy more than he deserved in my opinion. The kid was not playing, out of shape, and in the gutter, but he stuck by him longer than most would have. I am not saying he will make the 2014 squad, but if he hits turkish 1st division, he will get a shot with the USMNT.
Very possibly, but imo the timing is odd. Onyewu was injured in practice several weeks ago now, iirc, an abdominal strain. If BB were willing to put him on the provisional roster, planning to pull him if he couldn't recover in time, then why pull him today? Why not wait a week longer? DeMerit's exclusion would be even more curious - unless he just reinjured himself - as his playing time has been on the upswing. Again, why include him on Friday and drop him on Monday, unless something happened over the weekend?

If Freddy is playing well in the superlig next season..I don't see why we can't call him up. That is a big if though, Freddy is going to have some dice roll his way. I believe when he is is in form he can provide something to the Nats.
