Now that there are a bunch of Non-crew fans in our leagues I think we should try to spread the secrets around and have all crew up top
Right now, Week 1 is locked for the proper Open League and for the Open League that I accidentally created as a H2H. I’m planning on kicking people who don’t identify in here out of the league when the window opens, and I’d imagine @SLSHOT01 will do the same. People who still want to join the proper Open League still can starting probably Monday. People who still want to join the proper H2H league can join now; the league couldn’t start on Week 1 because there were an odd number of teams that were entered when the window closed. It will start up for Week 2. I’m going to try to delete the “Open League” that is entered as a H2H.
Can you please explain? Please, and thank you. Also, are formations locked in once a team/player plays?
Dammit. I am going to need some tech help from one of you fellas tomorrow. We moved out a Nashville guy because well... eh. So we tried to remove a defender and sub in a midfield. We were under cap, but the page would not let us save the team as is.
If you have a player in your starting 11 that does not play, the players in your bench AUTOMATICALLY take their spot. So essentially, what you do, is put 2 4M players who you know for a fact wont play in the starting 11. That way, when you have 3 bench players, it will take your highest 2 scorers and put them into those 2 spots. 3 Players for 2 spots giving you less variance. It's called an Autoroo. To take it even a step further, you pick 3 bench players who play early in the week (say weds or early game sat), and 2 4M players who play late in the week (lets say sunday). That way, you can see what your bench players do in their early game. If 2 of your bench players have good weeks you can leave the autoroo going. If you don't have 2 good bench players, you transfer out your 4M players as needed (lets say you have 1 good bench, you transfer 1 4m, if you have 0 good bench you transfer out both 4m players) for a higher priced players who will presumably do better than the shitty bench players. That is called a switcharoo and requires a higher bankroll (so normally doesn't start til later in the year).
IF you actually have the time Teams announce their starting lineups BEFORE the game starts and it is posted online. The lockout actually happens at the time the game starts. So if you have a player that is in your lineup that isn't in the starting 11 (or even the 18) you have a brief window to swap them out on your own as well.
