Got through the queue. The situation is ridiculous. All resale, at least half of them in rows of eight. Nordecke is averaging $500. A few over $1000. I saw nothing much elsewhere under $800. It's insulting.
Tickets were made available to Nordecke that were not available to other fans. That is excluding other fans from the opportunity to purchase those tickets. I understand, Nordecke is going to look out for its own interest and members. I don't really have a problem with that. Good for you/them. But don't say you're acting in the interest of fans, you're acting in the interest of your group.
From my experience it has always been a "You're either a bro or you aren't" If you didnt sit in the nordecke or feel that your version of fan experience is chugging a beer with a hipster, you don't matter. The simplified version is. There are people that like to watch the game, and there are people that are there to be the experience, the game doesn't matter. The focus has always been on the fans that want to be social media stars. The marketing team has bias toward making things look like themselves which doesn't actually make it inclusive.
I have been sitting in and contributing to the Crew Supporters sections since the very beginning and I couldn't disagree with you more.
And there is the bias, your experience is X so everyone must be the same. What I said was related to how the front office manages things. I've also been around since the beginning and have at one time been with multiple groups, and an insider. I would like to see the marketing of the nordecke (fan group) to be more about the totality of the fans, not just a section. Maybe time for a rebrand to reduce the confusion ;p My statement has nothing to do with the ticket handling for nordecke....I would much rather see that entire section blocked off and only way to get tickets is through the supporter group.
Ik i got on at 10 and nothing was left I have two player box seats for me and my wife but my kids are disappointed. Hopefully secondary market I’ll find some Saturday morning . I’ll assume rn everything is higher than snoop dogg
I've been thinking about a rebrand since the day I decided to run for the board. As far as our marketing goes - I may be blind due to proximity, but I do my best to make sure that 96% of the things we post are aimed at the entirety of Crew Soccer Nation. Could I do better, sure. But I'm doing my best not to ignore the other 17,000 fans in the stadium or greater Crew fans as a whole.
If by this you mean you want to make sure that people who will stand and sing for 90 minutes end up in the Nordecke, I'm in agreement. Trust me, I'll be quite annoyed when there are a bunch of NPCs(thanks Bill) around me in the Nordecke staring at their phones instead of supporting the team.
My pops and I were just saying that same sentiment this morning. I never stepped into a leadership role with Crew supporters, and I never will. As I have grown older (and hopefully a bit wiser), I have come to appreciate whoever has been competent enough to lead our supporters group(s) over the years.

I was in the crew shop yesterday with my wife and the noon news was on. Tom Bosco was doing a story on the ticket fiasco and mentioned LaMacchia's name. My wife said "hey, don't you know that guy?"
I know. And I'm also a rare person who responds well to negative feedback. I can't get better if I don't know what I'm doing wrong, right? Plus, y'all actually provide valuable feedback, rather than just screaming "you suck" on Twitter.
It was so weird last night to have the TV on as background noise while I did other things and suddenly hear my own voice coming from the other room.
