My thing though, is that shouldn't happen. Every person was in the same boat and they shouldn't just hold tickets to those who throw the biggest fit.

Let me just be clear here: I'm not complaining about my personal situation. As I said a few days ago, I somehow snagged 2 tickets in 2020 when only around 1500 people got in. I stood in my assigned seat in the back of the upper deck with my son and we sand Can't help falling in love together at the top of our lungs when we couldn't really hear anyone else and am still grateful for the experience. So I have zero room to complain.

But I'm very angry about a whole bunch of good people who have been unfairly shut out (and also angry at the club for not issuing a single word of sympathy with their loyal fans who got screwed, but that's another story)

Back in 2002 when the league shuttered Miami and Tampa Bay - I loved the Mutes a lot - their fans were of course crushed, and they had a lot of great supporters. But one guy I happen to know said that he had waited so long for America to have a soccer league and it finally did and if his team had to fall on it's sword in order to keep the league running then it was a sacrifice he was willing to make because he loved his fellow soccer fans.

That's exactly how I feel about this mess. I'm not that concerned about me, I'm mostly concerned about how this will affect the fans and the team going forward.

I'm 4843 in the queue. My son is in the 13,000 range. I don't know who I hate more. Ticketmaster or MLS.

Due to high demand for today’s sale, ticket availability is extremely limited. As you continue to shop some options may be unavailable. If you are unable to find tickets today, we recommend checking back frequently as additional tickets may become available.

I'm sure this is completely ethical, and there is no gouging or profiteering of any kind taking place.

    Working with the TicketBastard filters:
—No more “verified tickets from Crew”
    —Lots of “verified resale tickets”
    —Almost all are >$300/ticket.

And there are a lot of grouping of 8-10 tickets together. So much for all of the unauthorized 23sponsor tickets being cancelled.

I didn't try this, but I wonder if there is a glitch that allowed STM to buy more than the number of tickets in their account.

It doesn't matter what bucket the tickets came from. They were tickets that could have been made available to other people, but weren't. They were only made available to Nordecke.

Some fans are more equal than others because they give $30 to some 3rd party.

Sorry to break it to you. You have friends in the group (if not in it yourself) so you have personal affinity. But the group with clout with the FO working to exclude other fans is the group that has turned on other fans.

I don't see the problem here. They're just doing for their customer what other reps did for Nordecke.

The word "exclude" here has me raising an eyebrow.
