Yeah the fine print definitely has a disclaimer that says they can revoke the ticket for almost any reason but especially for unauthorized purchases even if you're the third party who purchased from an illegal middle man. However, if they're smart they'll just revoke the ones who didn't already get purchased and let those who bought already keep their ticket.
Not any worse off than I was this morning. To be perfectly honest, I'm just happy for all the good Crew fans who got cheated earlier.
I was rereading the email to make sure they didn't scrap all the tickets. Hoping they cross reference the list of buyers who used the sponsor code with STM. Maybe then checking if they overbought beyond the allotment. Ticketmaster knows who now has the ticket. There's the chance a sale on seat geek is confirmed but pending. Judging by the 24 hours of buffer time, I'd have to imagine the crew are thinking they'll have to hash out some issues on the fly.
I would guess they are going to void all of the tickets bought with the unauthorized code and then give the sponsors a new personalized code followed by STM. I don't know how sophisticated they are so crew fans who bought secondary may be SOL. However the presser says they already cancelled them so maybe not! Maybe they cancelled a few obvious ones and they're going to call it a day.
The tickets I bought already got transferred to my Ticketmaster account. Guess I play the wait and see game. The tickets I snagged didn't have crazy mark up they were only 240 for Southend.
They might be able to identify fraudulently purchased tickets via IP addresses. So they may not even need to redo that sale.
True...and that doesn't even include the tifo/chanting, etc. Most American sports, as we know, is just random noise and "do what the cheerleaders/PA guy demand." Whenever I go see another sport, I'm always tempted to yell player last names during intros. Then there's NBA with the constant noise/Casio keyboard during the play.
2. Use a laptop. Using laptop is much easier, on phone it can be harder to pick seats and switch between sections, it can be really cluttered. A laptop has an easier to navigate layout.— ℭ𝔞𝔯𝔬𝔩𝔦𝔫𝔢 | ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (@carolinee_150) December 5, 2023 Thread for those in need. Good luck. Also they want to verify your credit card. My company called to give me a code. I entered that in wrong. I retried with my debit, and there was no additional hassle. Good luck again. Good night. Glory to Columbus.
Ticketmaster says its tickets are guaranteed. So if they are revoked, I assume I get my money back. I’d rather pay the face value so I’m ok with doing it again. Just a lot of confusion that could have been avoided.
Did anyone else grab a ticket from Vivid in desperation like I did? I can't tell whether my "confirmed" ticket also came from the sponsor code.
This is one of those times where sheep league comes in handy with the F5. And by this, I mean prior to getting in the queue
My Applebee's waitress told me that Arace is looking into this whole mess. It will be in the teams best interests to bend over backwards to do right by the fans.
At this point, I guess the question is, has anyone actually had an order canceled? Is there anyone here that had a ticket or tickets and no longer does?
