Pitch looks awfully slippery... every time De Ligt or Cillessen dwell on the ball in an open space for such a long time, I fear for the worst

 

Once again I don't like Klaassen in this match. He had one pass for Danjuma his chance but nothing else.

 

Well that was uninspiring. A goal early in the second half would be nice… but we will probably have 0-0 in the 80something minute with nails being bit.

 

I don’t like that at all when they hesitate to play the ball or Frenkie attempts to dribble out of back is risky.

Funny you say that. The de Ligt - Cillessen back pass combo has me worried… slick surface, bit out of practice player, pressure of the event, etc.

Why not De Roon or Koopmeiners instead of him? Van Gaal suddenly made Klaassen a nailed down starter. He was totally out of the picture when he wasn't playing in the Eredivisie. Lazy selection policy again. Danjuma was for a long time ignored (have been saying he should have been tried out for euro 2020)

 

Still too much passing in the back...I guess we play safe...both teams are waiting for the other to make mistakes first.
