There are no CNL matches in September! https://www.concacaf.com/nations-le...af-nations-league-presented-by-qatar-airways/ June is a double window ( 4 matchdays ) and Pot 1 Teams will play at the beginning of the window. This allows the team in the Intercontinental playoff to be in Qatar for Matchday 4 of the window. Assuming the USA finishes Top 3 in WCQ : June 2022 Matchday 1 ~ Friday, June 3rd - CNL June 2022 Matchday 2 ~ Tuesday, June 7th - CNL June 2022 Matchday 3 ~ Friday, June 10th - friendly ? June 2022 Matchday 4 ~ Tuesday, June 14th - friendly ? If the USA finishes in 4th place in WCQ, then Matchday 4 becomes the Intercontinental Playoff in Qatar and a theoretical Matchday 3 would certainly be scrapped to allow for travel to the Middle-East.

A great post, but to be picky. We just finished the Penultimate round. This is the Ultimate/last round.
We are going into the final round, but the update was the results from the penultimate round. And yes, I thought about this and am not just covering for screwing up. I was originally going to title it the final window update but we still have to play the final window. So I changed it.
So if I understand the CNL schedule correctly for League A, Matchday 3 and 4 will be home and away games between the Pot 2 & 3 teams? And USA, by virtue of being in Pot 1, will play on Matchday 1 and 2, then on both of the Matchdays in March 2023.

So usually the USA team does a sendoff tour to say goodbye to the team before they leave America to go to the World Cup. They did that in 2010 and 2014. 2006, I have no idea. I wonder if they’ll do something like that again. also, you have to assume that for these friendly matches whether it’s in June or September, that they’re going to play a game on the East Coast. For a couple of reasons. The first, money. They don’t care about location therefore they will do a big stadium on the East Coast so whoever they play, their fans can come also. Second, the East Coast never got a World Cup qualifier. This is just an assumption but it makes sense. I know there was a rumor for California.
There just won't be time for a home-based send-off series or even game. Maybe they'll play a friendly in Qatar but there is only a week between release of players to the World Cup opener. MLS Cup final is November 6th. Players on leagues going on after that don't have to release players until November 14th. World Cup opens November 21st. https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2022/03/road-to-qatar-the-usmnt-timeline-to-the-2022-fifa-world-cup
so that’s a fantastic point from you. So what the Federation should do is if they’re gonna do friendly matches in America. Maybe do one on the West Coast and one on the East Coast and that will be the last time everyone gets to see them before they leave for Qatar.
I doubt the Europe-based players will come to the US at all in November. With only a week from release to the first match in Qatar, I assume they'll head directly to camp in Qatar. No reason to add all that extra flying. If USSF wants to squeeze in a November friendly in the States, it would have to be with MLS players only. The final squad won't have a full 18 of MLS players, so any friendly would have to be beefed up with players who aren't in the WC squad. It seems improbable to me. The odd timing of this World Cup probably rules out any such games.

The site of the US v Uruguay match on June 5 has yet to be officially announced, but reports from Uruguay suggest Los Angeles. [Uruguay will play Mexico a few days before, in Arizona.]
Those reports are old. Subsequent reports say Kansas City. “Ya están arreglados los amistosos de Junio y estamos a punto de arreglar uno en Julio que queremos hacer acá en Montevideo. Uruguay in KC, KS confirmed. https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2022/04/usmnt-to-face-no-13-ranked-uruguay-on-june-5-in-kansas-city The US played there in the 2019 (x 1) and 2021 (x 3) Gold Cup. Since there is much talk about repeating venues, I though I thought I should check: the last time USSF scheduled the USMNT there was a May 2016 friendly vs. Bolivia.

Confirms the rest of the games are probably played in Europe or Asia
How about Africa? Turkey in Germany, Morocco in Spain and Algeria in France would all work. Forgot Turkey is in UEFA.
