MLS technically made Miami get rid of Pellegrini as part of their punishment. He can't play for Miami as I understand it.
Nope. They had to buy him out last year which means he couldn't ever play for them again. However, he still had an MLS contract. Players like Jurgen Damm, Grayson Barber, and Joe Corona are all still on MLS' books (they appear in the MLSPA salary list as "playing for" Major League Soccer). MLS will loan players out or sell them if they can. But you can't buy-out a player and then resign him.
I quite believe this one. Yes, Tello is out of contract so he can sign outside the window. And, yes, it seems like they are selling Brian Rodriguez to Club America. And, yes again, he is a left winger and Rodriguez is a left winger so it is a natural swap. However, they just added a DP that plays out left. Can't see them signing ANOTHER TAM level winger to go along with the multiple other TAM/DP wingers they have.
I would be surprised too though they may look at it as selling B-Rod hurts their chances of winning this year and so they have to bring in a replacement. Potentially a short term deal? Idk it seems a little late to be integrating more new faces ...

Anyone think we will see Ronaldo in MLS next year and if so which team can afford his wages? Will MLS help like they did either Beckham? Only teams I see that can go for him, will have the roster flexibility and he will be willing to live in those cities are Inter Miami and LA Galaxy.
I think Messi will either go back to Barcelona or renew with PSG. But it would be nice if both of them come to MLS.
Victor Wanyama says he's leaving Montreal after this season. Montreal will lose both Mihailovic and him. Damn.
Looks like it will be 'all or nothing' for CFM in the playoffs. 2023 looks dour for the team unless they can secure some decent talent in the off-season.
Is it time for a 2023 season player movement thread? BREAKING: Per sources, FC Cincinnati finalizing a deal for French legend Kylian Mbappé. Deal will go through once Brenner (18g/6a) is sold this window. FCC will send Allan Cruz + $900,000 in GAM to Sporting Kansas City for his discovery rights. Deal WILL NOT require DP spot. pic.twitter.com/IxHwgGaaHN— faith (@faith513_) October 12, 2022
