In retrospect, it’s probably best we didn’t advance so ugly ass tata wouldn’t have been vindicated for all his poor roster choices

Henry and Chavez were excellent today IMO
    Idiotic to take out Henry.

The move was Funes for Alvarez and Arteaga for Gallardo.

If it makes you guys feel better, we weren't getting passed Le Frogs. We would have gotten passed Australia

When you think about it Mexico was without 4 of their best 6 or so attacking players this cycle...

No Raul, Tecatito, Gimenez and Lianez...

Which generation overcomes that? Not many imo...That's devastating...

Even as someone who dropped some coin to see the squad in play in Qatar, I can’t argue against you. The results speak for themselves.

There will be no self-reflection or introspection. In the FMF the product is not valued on its quality but rather the quantity of times it can be stripped.

I still remember that loss to the US in 2002. I hate to admit but that felt almost like a death in the family for me. I was so down, for a long time. 20 years later and the same problems seem to persist. This result, obviously, has no where near the same impact. This feels more like when you hear your drunkard tio has gotten yet another DWI. Damn Tio get your act together! That’s how I feel about this squad.

These US soccer pundits & former players are so unlikeable. Almost as if they're obsessed with anything and everything Mexico lol. Inferiority complex?

Not going to 100% agree but overall I can see why we say that. Players like Luis Chávez and Alexis Vega and Montes and Orbelin played their hearts out. Guardado and RJ9 and HH should have bowed out. It is no coincide that the team played better with a younger lineup

I keep wanting to say something snarky about his retinas but then, I remember that I’m near sighted, so I’m going to keep mouth shut. :ninja:

    won't happen.
this game will pass, the anger will subdue, fans will forgive and forget.
there will be excuses as to why the team didn't advanced.

for there to be change, gotta hit them in the pockets.
    $$$ talks.

    stop buy the jersey.
    stop attending games.
stop putting $$ in their pockets.

If Southgate hadn’t been comprised and played full strength( see match vs Wales) last Saturday, the Nads would have been out.

As said by many pundits and others here:
    We need to:
    1. Play libertadores
    2. Play copa america
    3. Change copa de oro to once every 4 years or only send the young squad
    4. Get rid of the repechaje in liga mx (cap playoffs to 8)
    5. Have ascenso and descenso based on tabla general
    6. Get rid of the mole tours vs guatemala, el salvador, haiti
    7. Play games like Uruguay in Montevideo, Spain in Madrid and Nigeria in Lagos
    8. Have the guy from Pachuca lead the FMF
    9. Fans boycott partidos moleros

Tbf Guardado did well against Argentina, but yeah some players had no business being in this tournament.

Tata dug his grave because if his rigid policies, like whenever a player displeased him they were never seen again. Chicharito, Salcedo, etc. The players looked liked they didn't want to be there. I have never seen a Mexico team with such low energy and effort, timid, and have no clue how to play.

Can we for once have a coach that actually makes a call up people are happy with? Every WC there is some pendejadas like putting Conejo in. Lainez and Santi absolutely deserved to be there. How does this happen every time?

Stu Holden got his butt handed to him 5-0 by Vela and Gio in a Gold Cup final. Of course he’s enjoying it. It’s all good. It’s their biggest rival laying an egg in a major way. Let them enjoy it.
