They sit in 4th at 49 points. It's pretty much (but not technically) over for the Crew in terms of getting a home playoff game now. Hard to believe that Philly picked a game against Atlanta to stop destroying people. Hmm. New England loses at home to Montreal. They need a miracle now. Orlando shakes off their recent funk in a big way and blasts Toronto straight into elimination. Chicago sees the same fate courtesy of Charlotte, who are suddenly only three points south of the line. Cincinnati winds up winning away. We need a win against the Timbers now just to keep pace. Anything less and Miami could potentially send us below the line later in the day.
Getting weird. Miami scored two in a row to take the lead. DC has equalized back. 2-2 with about a half hour to go.
I think this is half right. We DON'T deserve to make it. But the "problem," if you want to call it that, is that the teams behind us aren't exactly world-beaters, either. So there's still a chance we get in through no fault of our own.

Well, the good news is that we don't play for a couple weeks, so we can concentrate on something less stressful. Like, the national team two months before the World Cup.
I hate the way the MLS season works The league has improved at least and despite adding new teams almost every year
If we tie the league record for ties and then also tie for the final playoff spot, that should give us the tiebreaker in the tie record tie, right?
Cincinnati @ Seattle Miami @ Toronto ( most important to us ) Philly @ Charlotte if we beat NYRB we will have a shot at 7th place but if Miami wins we could still be in 8th A draw or loss to NYRB and a Miami win would put us on life support with the kiss of death almost inevitable.
Weird result. Feels like a good point for Ohio's Finest, but also a missed opportunity with Seattle missing a few players and also going down a man in the second half.
