Another game between defensive minded teams. Probably won't be the madness we saw last week, but I imagine good opportunities will be hard to come by. Hopefully the strikers are prepared to capitalize this week.
This is getting way ahead of things, but with Colorado’s loss, only the Revolution are seeded higher than the Union for a home MLS Cup game. Focusing on Sunday, Mukhtur is really good, and Nashville is going to be tough to beat.
It goes by regular season points. The only team from the West the Union can host is RSL. Which is stupid because of unbalanced scheduling, but whatever.

What a great win! Like Jim Curtin, I could not watch the shootout - I had to follow by the crowd reactions. To be read in the voice of Dick Vitale: "and the crowd was awesome baby!"
Any thoughts on why Curtin doesn't have Glesnes take more free kicks in the 30-35 yard range from the center of the field? The Union had several of these, but he was always sent into the box. I get that they want their big bodies in front of the goal, but having him line up for the FK next to someone like Wagner gives the GK two very different things to think about...and I wouldn't want to be lining up in the wall with Glesnes on behind ball.
