Anyone want to hazard a guess at a lineup with 7 players called up for qualifiers and Elliot suspended?

Can't see us getting a win in this one.

    I'll take a stab:

    GK - Freese
Back 3 of Collin, Glesnes and Findlay
    Wagner and Bedoya at wingback
    McGlynn, Aaronson, Flach in Midfield
    Pryzbylko and Sullivan up top

If we get stomped this game will it make a difference going forward? Would Curtin change as a result or just say it's because we didn't have our starters and then be that much more likely to never rotate?

Sucks that CCL is costing us so much in the regular season. That being said, if we somehow miraculously advance it would be worth it.

How exactly? The first part of CCL was in April and early May. The is semifinal leg has taken place midweek in mid-August, and Mid September.......not to mention the Union received extra allocation money from MLS for making CCL that used to strengthen the team.

Would we rather have had the Union play New England a month ago when they had Carles Gil in their lineup???

CCL isn't the reason for the Union's poor form for most of this season. Not having Aaronson has hurt them more, along with Gazdag not settling in yet. Because of this, Flach has been shoehorned into Jamiro's regular spot of the 8 which has led to a lack of cohesion and ideas going forward.

I will root for this team no matter what. They stick up and fight for one another. That said.....they really need to figure out how to attack teams through the middle of the field. All night New England forced them to play out wide, and to put in aimless crosses. Findlay didn't cover himself in glory tonight either. Bendik should have done better on that cross too.

Also, Kessler is a bitch and is a poor sport. I thought Kai was going to beat the sh!t out of him after the match.
