Appreciate the scouting report. Hope that others that see the Rapids loanees will pass on their observations. Also, good to see that all four got on the pitch.
I was thinking tonight that between Captain Jack and YARRbrough this team really needs a pirate theme

Vines AND Bassett get “Young Player Performance of the Week” accolades this week: Sam Vines broke out against Houston. 👀Top-5 young player performances in Week 5: https://t.co/7RHMygD4f4 pic.twitter.com/QxwIaNuW69— Major League Soccer (@MLS) May 18, 2021 Congrats to the co-spots on the list by the CO boys!
This is one of the reasons I find Bassett to be such an asset to the team. He runs relentlessly but with a purpose. And once the Rapid get the ball back he keeps playing positive and supports the attack. Nothing but hustle outta @colebassett19. 😤 pic.twitter.com/SCsRd8cd1w— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) May 18, 2021
Two interesting stats from the Rapids media release A win on Saturday would be the Rapids first 4 game win streak since 2003 The Rapids have the best road record in the league since the start of 2020

Per this article, Namli is still injured. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/so...conference-action/ar-AAKbxYL?ocid=hplocalnews I am not sure where you all get the official injury reports that get posted up.
Acosta was called up for the May 30th friendly against Switzerland in Switzerland. So he'll miss the home match the night before against Dallas. I'm guessing he'll leave for camp from LA after Saturday's game. After the Memorial Day weekend game the league is on a break until June 19th.
Interesting. I wonder if this means he's being seriously considered for the Nations Cup roster once it's paired down? Thought Vines might have a shot at the Nations Cup as well given his play recently with the Rapids. Looks like he'll be in line for the Gold Cup roster.

This roster is not the Nations League roster. There are multiple people on this roster who were not on the Nations League preliminary roster and vice versa. Since I don't think this is an official international break its quite possible the Rapids said they'll let Acosta go but not Vines, given our depth issues.
Our Wed. Aug 4th game @Min has been moved to Sat. Oct. 9th. Good news is that it takes away a "3 games in a week" week, but we lose our international week bye weekend in October. https://www.mnufc.com/post/2021/05/20/mnufc-game-rescheduled
If Acosta has a UK club interested in him, he needs to be X# of USA rosters to get visa- they changed it a bit from what it used to be.
Good article about Olli Larraz's first minutes https://www.9news.com/article/sport...apids/73-34ac270d-2520-47b0-ab96-55955602e7d3
So last year the club announced they were retiring Pablo's #25, a retirement ceremony that got delayed due to COVID. We haven't heard about any rescheduling of it. Part of me wonders if the Rapids have decided not to retire the number while he's working for our rival.
Acosta makes the Nats roster for the Nations League, Vines does not. Yedlin likely took his spot as a somewhat surprise inclusion.
