Okugawa’s career has always gone under the radar but this is huge news.

Okugawa started yesterday, he was tried behind the striker. Watched a bit, I'd say mixed result. But good that he was starting.
When he was <19 I thought he would surely reach a top league.
But when he was in Liefering there were moments were he really had lost himself, he was
unrecognizable. Props to him for getting back on track.

Scored in the Cup against Mainz. Scored the 1:0. After an very entertaining match Mainz won 3-2 short before the penaltys.

Okugawa almost scored another on, beat allready the Keeper but a defender saves before the line.

Scored the winner yesterday against Stuttgart in the league.

His second league goal of the season, and third goal of the season overall.

Next Okugawa goal. 4th of the season + 1 Assist in all games now.

Scored actually the Year 1:0 lead with a great volley against Wolfsburg.

Scored the opener in their 2-0 win vs. Bochum. A well-taken header where he leaped above the defender. Continues to have a good season.

Surprise 0-2 goal by Okugawa against Leipzig shortly after Bielefeld lost Klos to a red card.

And Masaya scored a second goal but was like it seems very closely offside.

Leading goal scorer for his Bundesliga club, playing 90 minutes every week... in normal circumstances he wouldn't even have to make a case to walk into the JNT but Moriyasu.

    But Moriyasu is Moriyasu.
Imagine having such a big group of great players to choose from but time after time yet chooses the average ones!

Suddenly he became a benchwarmer.. For a Arminia that keeps on losing.

I thought he was doing fine and had scored like 8 goals. I guess the manager just has to try something different if they keep losing.

I guess the manager will be forced to put him back on by a reality check.

    So, Arminia got relegated...

but I'd rate the chances of Okugawa remaining as 3/10 after the season he's had.

He stayed. We seem to have forgotten him. Had a good start to the season though. 2 goal and 2 assists so far. Also one in the cup.

Well, the market is not closed yet. But yes, I guess so far they haven't found anything or haven't reached any agreement with Arminia ?
