It's the least important cup but its still nice to get one over Benfica who likely will finish with another trophy less season. More importantly its another cup won for us. Also good to see Porro back, just like last year in the final he made the difference

I don’t think it can be understated how important trophies like these are, we are creating an ethos of success. Doesn’t matter that it’s only the league cup, a trophy is a trophy and the importance of a winning mentality is huge
4 out of last 5 domestic trophies won by us. Since VAR was introduced, 7 trophies won by us domestically. Coincidence?
Funny, at one point in time some of you guys were saying VAR was run by Benfica, now it’s your friend ? Lol pick one lol . How about you have won lately because you are better now than before ?
Of course it's because we have stability right now and a good coach, but VAR helps at least with offsides. So many games and even trophies lost due to bad offside calls. VAR isn't perfect though but no one can blanket the last corrupt 4 decades between Benfica and Porto.
