Our group is pretty soft. I expect us to at the very least pass to the R32. Here's the table after week 1. Top 2 make it to the R32.
I'm not gonna lie. I don't really care too much if we were to get eliminated but it would be nice to see us win a trophy in Europe. I know it's only the Europa League, but I go through the list of teams and no one is really that impressive. I think we're easily the best team in this competition. We'll see how it changes when the 3rd placed teams from the Champions League drop down.
I care this time. I never did. It is the wrong mentality. Top clubs give it all everywhere. We can win it. It brings money and CL and prestige.
It really does seem that we have finally developed character. It does not excuse the way we were playing, especially in the beginning, but it sure is nice to see a change. I think some people here have underestimated Osimhen, as both of the goals that he scored were special.

I beg to differ. The goal was special, for it would not have been possible to blame it on him even if he had not scored. In my books, that is a sign of a special striker. That being said, he still needs to improve for that kind of money, and the same applies to Lozano. I am actually glad to see that Spal seems to be able to play that which he believes in, not price tags. I really like Lozano and I want him to shine, but if he can't deliver, there is nothing anybody can do about it.

It's not a bad competition and let's us see how well we measure against European opposition. The players need the experience if Napoli is to do well in the Champions League. Plus it's a chance to showcase players like Osimhen who can impress and maybe sell for a pretty penny.
Actually, we are still pretty much in it. Considering we can win against the Polish team, we will be one point up, and share the 1st spot with Leicester, or have the second below Spartak.
I agree with the first part, and partially also with the 2nd; however, I would not consider selling Osimhen right now.
getting top 4 is about 1 000 000 times more important. winning the EL is much harder and way more random than getting into top 4 I would start players that don't play much in EL
It is not so easy to forget that the other teams in our group had been playing as well, so I'd like to call the attention to the fact that I deserve credit for this post. The amount of stupidity that I achieved in it is almost above the level of possibility. A few more beers will, hopefully, fix the issue.
I kind of agree, but Careca also had a point. If we want to become better, we need to find a way to win these games with an improvised lineup, but I believe we would have done so had it not been for the red card so early on in the game. After all, the win was much more important for the Russians than for us, and the motivation in these games is quite different from that in the league.
I turned it off at half-time b/c I figured these bums didn't care, so why should I? What a mistake lol.
