Our Bundesliga campaign officially begins tomorrow at home vs Eintracht Frankfurt. Most exciting part is the presence of a crowd after a year and a half.

Eintracht Frankfurt were knocked out from the first round of the DFB-Pokal against 3. Liga club SV Waldhof Mannheim, so let's rub further salt on their wounds and win the match.

This season we should settle for nothing less than win after win after win and be ruthless on the pitch, never underestimate any team no matter how vulnerable our opponents look. This is obviously Håland's last season with us, so let's make the most of him.

Three points and a clean sheet, please.

A lot of people are saying that Bayern is weaker this season. If so, then it's our chance. Let's win it, game by game!

Well Bayern dropped points so it is our chance to get a lead

Watching the Borussia Dortmund YouTube channel and Dahoud seems confident that 6 is his position and he is very happy with it.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow. Let's get the win.

    Kobel
Passlack - Can (or Papadopoulos) - Akanji - Schulz
    Dahoud
    Bellingham - Reyna
    Reus
    Malen - Haaland

Our full backs are our weakest links. I think we'll be much better for the season with a new RB.

    Looks like Witsel playing CB?

Yes Witsel at CB, Passlack at RB and Schulz LB. It's not a great lineup on paper.

We are very depleted for this match, hopefully we can pull off a result.

I think we are playing a 4--3-1. Big game for Hazard to see what he has.

Frankfurt just content to try and counter us. We have no real plan of attack at the moment other than the fact that we are winning it back well each time.

Reus scores a good finish, after a great run and pass from Haaland.
I like the fight we are showing.

This is true, we are lacking a bit of quality in the team. For most matches we probably need Brandt instead of Bellingham and still need to sign a winger, because Thorgan has been very poor.

Though to be fair they contributed to win the ball back for the goal.

Reyna lost the ball in a dangerous area and Passlack scored an own goal. A shame, because he had actually been playing very well.

Interestingly we scored after a counterattack after we were pretty dominant with our offensive football in the first 10 minutes. Teams usually know to avoid giving us this. That phase of sometimes frantic but highly technical football was nice to watch and looked like Dortmund.

Very needless ball loss in midfield before Frankfurt's goal. We really need to avoid these simple mistakes.

I think the new keeper was a bit weak on that own goal too... I was from outside the box and not all that hard...

we are not good defensively but I understand we are injured..

You would think that we have addressed RB,CB and LB issues though in the offseason.. nope.

Fantastic goal to put us back in the lead. Haaland with his second assist. Fantastic counter attack with an astounding key pass from Reus.

Credit to Witsel for the interception and Dahoud starting the counter.

Can't complain today about the defence. Meunier, Morey, Hummels, Can, Zagadou, Coulibali and Guerreiro are all injured. Just need to suck it up today.

Haaland scores our third. Great game from him.

Haaland taking over this match though Gio helped create that 2nd goal. Haaland created that 3rd goal by sheer willpower.

Haaland 3:1, we are really punishing every Frankfurt mistake who seem to be in questionable form right now.

Turning out to be a a high scoring affair!! 3-1 at the 33 minutes already.

Haaland 1 goal 2 assist already this season!!
I say give Haaland whatever he wants but keep him here and happy! We'll make the money back and more + all those shiny trophies...

Reus punishing another mistake. Lucky for Frankfurt the ball had crossed the line. So it remains 3-1.
