When mansueto talks yes that’s what he means. When some people on this board talk about filling the stadium they are talking the whole stadium.
Were you at the October 8th event? Manseuto specifically stated he wanted 63,000 at the opener. So, when he spoke about filling the stadium, he said the whole stadium After that, of course there will be a reduced capacity, like most MLS teams.

I don’t think anyone thinks he expects to immediately fill the entire stadium for every game all season starting this year. No one that I know is making that argument so maybe stop arguing against it. EDIT: If any of you are implying Mansueto expects to fill the stadium every game, you’re wrong.
Honestly...I would make the bet right now there is no way we fill the entire stadium on opening day unless the weather is perfect (hah!) and even then I would still bet against. I would be elated if we averaged 25k through the season after the opener but once again (Hah!) I'd take the bet that won't happen either. We may have the better team (hah believe it when I see it) but sometimes a 'big name' actually matters and in filling seats Before the Fire become good again..a big name goes a long way.
Things are looking up but waiting for these damn official announcements also Stojanovic is not a backup option to Ljubicic. Ljubicic was the backup option to Gimenez, but it looks very much like the best case is happening here
I'm not sure what exactly is going on with opener sales. The just opened up some sales in the 300 level behind the north goal, which I figured they wouldn't bother doing until the 200 levels are totally or mostly sold out. I am a little annoyed. I'm going to be gone for the opener and I dropped my regular tickets back onto Ticketmaster at cost just to make sure someone gets them. I don't see any way to do the same for my two "bonus" tickets up in 255, so those may sit empty unless someone wants them.
So is Stojanovic a third option in the more advanced midfield roles along with Djordje and Medran? That would be good. That's the weakest spot in the team at the moment.
Gimenez is going to be there. Tbh I think Medran goes to the bench in that situation but that’s a guess on my end.
Anyone see any actual marketing around the city or anything all to remotely indicate they are making an attempt to draw more people in? I mean I'll probably go to the opener seeing how I have some ventra credit leftover and it's like $10 for the entire weekend on metra but, I have serious doubts that people that didn't care before will suddenly show up especially if it's like 35 and windy which it very well might be
