I was referring to the people that booed. To them, the disrespect shown toward the anthem is more important than the justice BLM is seeking, which is why they booed. I respect their opinion, even though I disagree with it.
Another generic name, another red, white and blue color scheme. Meh... St. Louis City SC: MLS expansion club unveils name, crest and colors August 13, 2020 12:08PM EDT MLSsoccer staff Although what they call "City Red" looks more pink/magenta to me.
They could have been something cool. Gateway FC, St Louis Divide. If they really needed to appeal to "real soccer club name" they could go for Lokomotiv STL. Im aware that the name has ties to the former USSR, but it. Is based in trains and transportation, something that speaks to the heart of STL identity

I saw someone suggest this on Twitter, instead of SC or FC ... use AF (Association Football). Revs A.F. I so badly want the Revs to rebrand this way. We are Revolution A.F. has a ring to it. Probably not the family friendly way though.
Here's the first time I proposed it, back in January - the beginning of a minimalist promotional campaign to adopt Revolution A. F. Revolution A.F.(umm...that's for Association Football...)And as others have said, slap some sort of container around the flag - a circle, or shield, etc., like Bilello, Bayern, Borussia Dortmund, Columbus. Keep crayola flag in the circle.https://t.co/ghdwCw3jxl#NERevs— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) January 21, 2020 [This is my in-depth (lol) analysis of the marketing possibilities The more one ponders "REVOLUTION A. F." - Unique name (it would be an "American Original" name, for sure)Bold, Edgy even. Fun to think of different interpretations. Interesting marketing possibilities - "Are YOU Revolution AF?"; "I'm Revolution AF", etc.)#NERevs— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) January 22, 2020 My guess is that name alone would draw at least some passing interest from the youth-ish types. It would be a certain departure from the past and its norms and sensibilities.#NERevs— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) January 22, 2020 And, I don't think anyone's sensibilities would really be offended....at least not in any way that it would actually adversely hurt the #NERevs reputation nor finances.— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) January 22, 2020 If only the #NERevs mgmt would own/step into a new level of "daring", to shed the longstanding club marketing identity, and step into something very very different....That would be amazing, unique, and refreshing.— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) January 22, 2020
...then, a few more plugs for it in the months since then, up through yesterday... Yes, this STILL works."Association Football" arguably (maybe even certainly) better than "SC" and "FC"."A.F." - say it out loud.https://t.co/hwYyzQdamd#NERevsFor what it is worth, I am most certainly Revolution As F...(Oh, yes, I forgot, there's a 2nd meaning here..) https://t.co/RAIb5yO9XW— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) August 13, 2020 #NERevs https://t.co/RAIb5yO9XW— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) July 24, 2020 Revolution A. F.it works.— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) February 29, 2020 Revolution A. F.— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) February 26, 2020 Revolution A. F.— A Casual Fan (@A_Casual_Fan) February 6, 2020
And, I threw the idea into a post here, at that same time. I forgot that I even framed out a TV commercial for them...ha ha.

Some wild results this weekend. Galaxy and Inter Miami both get their first wins of the regular season. Houston is now the only team without a win. Galaxy go across town to LAFC and hand them their first loss of the season, 2-0. Miami's home opener provides a 3-2 win over Orlando, despite this absolute brute force goal from the number one overall SuperDraft pick Daryl Dike. His older brother Bright played for Portland and Toronto. After going scoreless in MLS is Back, then firing Frank De Boer, ATL got back to their winning ways under interim coach Stephen Glass, beating Nashville 2-0 with a brace from Pity Martinez. MLS is Back champs Portland fall flat in their return home, losing 3-0 to Seattle. Lastly, for @ToMhIlL and all you other Ray Hudson fans, check out this one-minute video: Magisterial! Last team without a win, Houston, traveled to SKC (top of the Western Conf table) last night, and took home a shocking 5-2 win.
Houston has been pretty good when I've watched them. Not surprising they can pull out a win. Tab is a great coach who can get more out of the sum of parts.
In case you didn't know, MLS players decided to follow up with the NBA yesterday, and 5 of the 6 games were postponed. The only game that was played started earlier, and even though both teams were talking about it, they decided to go through and play the game. I'm hearing the NBA will have no games again today. Long story short, I'm not sure there will be a Revs game this weekend.

Ray Hudson must think up a whole bunch of metaphors before every game... "Faster than a teenager in a hotrod," "Cooler than the nose of a greyhound"? Personally, I like "He fenn-eshed thet faaster thanna mutton vindaloo going thruuu a lager lout's colon!" Ray is Aaaaabso-luuuuutely MAH-jeck!
