Just saw on the news that Philly officials are recommending that people stay away from events of more than 5,000 individuals, "including sporting events". Union game may not be affected if they go by actual attendance rather than announced. I have season tickets but will not be able to go due to a birthday event I am involved in so put my tickets on StubHub. Looks like lots of options on there when I just checked. May be some time before I get to see the Union play in person this year.

Without the giant tv contracts that other sports can fall back on the MLS is going to be in a tough spot financially even if they play games in empty stadiums. Even once we kinda get past this thing I think people are going to be skittish about going to public events.
Anybody else thinking about how nice it was of this virus to wait until the season already started and Jay already spent millions on players to tank the stock market, along with Jay's net worth?

Well then at least I still have a shot at never having missing a home opener cause I sure as heck wasn't going go to the game.
