As a TFC fan, I'm looking forward to this game. Both teams are playing well and both are in the hunt for the Supporters' Shield. Should be a good one.

Per The Athletic, MLS will be allowing players to join their national teams, so this may be Martinez’ last Union game for a while. If he plays for Venezuela, he’ll miss the 4 games after this Toronto match.

The MLS injury report lists four of your players as questionable. I don't know your team well - are any of Elliot, Wagner, Gaddis, or Creavalle major figures for you?

Elliot (CB), Wagner (LB), Gaddis (RB but can fill LB) all starters last year and beginning of this year while Creavalle is a veteran DM who typically comes in late.

That being said, we are expecting our HG CB (McKenzie) to be off to Europe soon and the replacement brought in over the summer is playing well in Elliot's place for now and we have a couple of good young players at the outside back positions so not a big dropoff.

As odd as it is to say this after being a season ticket holder from day 1...the Union have depth...(waits for sky to fall)

1-0 Union, Santos with a pretty chip from a difficult angle. Blake with a big save to keep it 1-0.

2-1 TFC, Pozuelo off of the corner. That goal had been coming. Union should really be down 3-1 at this point

Kind of felt like Jim waited too long to make changes in this one. But the changes actually seemed to make things worse so maybe I was wrong.

Hoping to at least steal at point.

I thought that was a well played game on both sides, but Toronto is the better team at the moment. I don’t know how the Union can overtake Columbus and Toronto — might help if Kacper gets hot again.

All we need to do is finish our chances, such as Bodoya's header in extra time. Was a great header but went straight to the goalie....
