I’ve been so bad at keeping up with the 2020 season...

    But feels like a win.

This might add an interesting wrinkle in tonight’s game.

Fontana is making a real case for more playing time with another outstanding strike.

Aaronson is going to be missed.

It still feels weird that the U are this good.

Another solid win! I think Higuain is my new favorite big name player to root against.

I listened to the game from West Virginia due to spotty wifi. Sounded like this was touch and go until Higuain choked. I saw the replay and it looked like Glesnes taunted him and Wagner came running in to the receiving end of his anger. I think Glesnes should have been more respectful, but that’s just me.

Well Higuain did almost posterize us with that bicycle kick early on. He's going to be good in this league for sure. Miami had no defense tho, at least in this game, so I think even if we had given up a few we still would have gotten a result.

Regarding the incident maybe Glesnes just wanted to give Higuain some advice on getting the ball on frame from a great distance and it wasn't well received. I think that Higuain was probably very hangry tho from the drop in food quality after his move from Italy and Glesnes really should have realized that and offered him a proper philly cheese steak after the game.

This incident was fun, but I think long-term that pursuit is not going to give you much joy.

I unabashedly say rooting against Higuain might give me some joy. I don’t celebrate injuries to opponents, and I’m happy to respect a competitor’s skill or success. Nevertheless, some rivalry and good old fashioned dislike enhances my enjoyment of sports. I was just up in the Boston area, and I’m not embarrassed to say that every Celtics jersey I saw irked me. Given your support of Spurs, don’t you root against Arsenal?

Sure. I wasn't being pious, that was just my roundabout way of saying I think he'll do very well in this league.

Key work being almost haha. Yeah, Higuain is great, like anyone, the league is an adjustment. Found it very surprising that he missed that, but Reggie Miller missed many fouls shots in his career... I am trying to think of an opportunity that Glesnes has had where he could directly strike the ball on a long free kick. I recall him taking a few. It would seem that the best time for him to go for goal would be from a central part of the field as opposed to various angles with more opportunities for crosses and less frame to aim at.
