After the first round. 14 points was the highest but no perfect brackets anymore : ( The pic is sorted by max possible score (the purple section) then a goofy expected point total (red, final column). fknbuflobo is in the lead but it's still anyone's game at this point, although Mrs. JSF has lost a quarterfinalist in NC State's early exit : / For all the numbers and picks, look here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16-DWvrsLAznMsqPbguhWcDDI1uEvaw2fl4sEJnDogRA/edit?usp=sharing
The professionalism of our bracket challenge has impressively ramped up . Bravo and merci Monsieur Soccersubjectively
Yikes! Does this fix it? (Other than the fact that Akron still doesn't win title.) Quarterfinals Virginia Indiana Washington Stanford Semifinals Indiana Stanford Finals Indiana
First, @soccersubjectively thank you for tallying the scores! Second, I propose in an effort to reduce error in the future that appropriate sanctions should be applied. For @fknbuflobo, Akron should lose 1 scholarship for 2020 and trade head coaches with another previous NCAA tournament winner, perhaps Duke. For @boxcar123, since I don't know his school of choice, I suggest that he be put on an unheated box car and go from coast to coast on the northern route during the 2020 college soccer conference tournaments - essentially eliminating him from the 2020 bracket predication pool. Yes, I'm still bitter and I'm trying to reduce competition.
Very harsh! Please do not punish the woeful Zips because of the ineptitude of one alum. They are struggling enough as is. Coach Embick is untouchable, so forget the trading. I ain’t real good at chart things. I a English major. UA.
Yes it does! Thank you! Joe, you have enough competition in your own household to worry about first! ; )
I am heartbroken. I am pretty sure I emailed you my file. Maybe it caught in spam. I will email you again. Please include me. I only got 9 right in the first round. I doubt I will be challenging for the title. Only picking teams where my son has friends or my son's team played this year. Here are my picks anyway. Round.Game away home winner spell it right? True enough. If she beats me, I won't tell her. I'll say that we were close but I just beat her. Heck, I cheated at Candyland against my (then) 3 yo.
He, we are also elsewhere on the internet. Our fifteen minutes of glory? https://www.everybodysoccer.com/eve...aa-soccer-bracket-challenge-sm25x-wew38-yxg4d
@fknbuflobo is still in the lead with a strong 40 points through the first two rounds, the most of anyone. @TimB4Last and I have very similar remaining brackets. I have Marshall and Michigan State advancing while he has Washington and Wake, respectively. Otherwise identical. I believe some past winning scores have been around 100 so I think most everyone is still in the running, especially if a darkhorse wins it. I'm with you! Poor Mrs JSF already has lost 2 of her final 4. I have a belief that she doesn't care - I still love her!

Indiana must have realized that the UCSB players won't even be awake at noon, which I assume is the earliest allowable start time.

Didn't submit a bracket this year, but if UCSB makes the College Cup I'm going to be kicking myself ...
Yeah, they're certainly peaking at the right time. And if Akron could knock off Wake last year, why not UCSB this year??
Alright so we're at the point that we can come up with all the possibilities of who can win... (sorted by win%, which is just giving each game a 50-50 chance and looking at every possibility) Full stats here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...KkGhgrmB0wwJX2Q2fn8kicAcbCO1QolfMRl85/pubhtml
