Fair point. For me tho, K-League is not fun for most Koreans because there aren't any drama/controversy/interesting players they can follow.
Just take out all the seat and blast edm music. Add some crazy lights and create a club atmosphere. That'll get people interested.
Good riddance, time to bring back Choi Yong-soo. @ChaDuRi671 can't be anymore happier/relieved, I'm not an FC Seoul fan but I was pissed at what he did with FC Seoul selling the best/core players Dejan, Adriano, Kim Chi-woo etc., he tore the team apart, I mean who wouldn't be pissed? As a legend he was as a player, he's got a lot of learning and improving to do as a manager.
Hwang Sun-hong was not the one to lead our team. He tried to implement his Pohang tactics, but it just did not work. Also, personally, I was fine with getting rid of old players, but they did a poor job of finding replacements. When FC Seoul used to sign foreign players, they were special. (Dejan, Adi, Molina, Djeparov, etc.) We have lost that touch over the years and have found random players like Evandro and Lopes. Hopefully, things will get better. We just have to see how Lee Eul-yong will do as the caretaker.
You should re-hire Choi Yong Soo and sign Jonathan (Stielike doesn't play him), just to make the story interesting (Dejan to Suwon, Jonathan to Seoul lol)
Damn, Kim Min-Jae got injured and subbed out. Kim Shin Wook coming off as centre back. I hope KMJ wasn't injured badly
Even if KMJ recovers on time he won't be 100% ready anyway; just little over a month away from the opening match. We are screwed already.
Suwon-Ulsan Post Match Comment: 1) Both sides seemed to be very cautious. Here's my speculation to why: - They will square off against each other again in the two-legged AFC Champions League Knock-out round in the next two weeks. - They will face their own nemesis FC Seoul and Pohang Steelers on this weekend, respectively. - Tight schedule has caused high level of fatigue, resulting in such disappointing performance. Particularly, for Suwon, it would've been too much to maintain the same intensity they had shown in the last few games as they played 2-man down against Jeonbuk just 3 days ago. Neither side has the squad as deep as Jeonbuk does. (Even Jeonbuk struggling with the same schedule) 2) Kim Yong-dae and Shin Hwa-yong were the men of the match. They denied several shots that should have been scored. The best scene came after SHY collided with a Ulsan forward and then he stood up with quick reflex and blocked the shot from rebound. I really thought Ulsan scored at the moment. 3) Hard to believe such chilly weather on freakin May. Poor attendance (less than 3K showed up tonight) may be affected by this.
Kim Min-jae is likely out of the WC, he'll be out for 4-6 weeks, plus the final 23 will be announced on the 24th.
Incheon play well but they always concede unnecessary goal and loses. Especially in the last few minutes. The games they should have won they draw, the games they should draw they lose. Now they're second last...
Suwon manager Seo Jung-won on Johnathan Goiano’s potential return: “I can’t give you a clear answer for now but he still has affection for us. He’s still watching our games and keeps in touch with our players.”— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) May 8, 2018
BREAKING | Incheon United are set to sack Lee Ki-Hyung. #kleague pic.twitter.com/lniGDP4hrU— Korea Football News (@KORFootballNews) May 9, 2018 Wow dumb move. They might be second last but they have also been unlucky. They have 6th highest GS and two of their players are in the top 5 highest goal scorer. If they signed a better defender this summer I thought it would have made a difference.
Damn. We really miss his explosiveness up front. His presence itself puts so much pressure on opponents' backline.
