Thank you for sharing this. I largely agree (and the debate is the fun). I live close to the mexican border and the general perception is that el tri gets to the quarter and semi finals (and we think england has high expectations). I think Sweden though are massively under-rated. A group with them and germany? No thank you.

Mexico is more talented than Sweden, but on a good day the Swedes work very well together. If Forsberg plays well then they have a good shot at advancing.

Apparently he smokes to much for Martinez liking. I'm not sure I believe that but it is odd he gets left out but having said that, they don't exactly lack quality in midfield

Hearing different reports concerning Salah's injury.

Egyption FA says he'll be out for two weeks, but then I saw an article from Goal that he's out for two months. However, Mo said this:

"It was a very tough night, but I'm a fighter. Despite the odds, I'm confident that I'll be in Russia to make you all proud."

Morocco squad only has like 5 or 6 players born in the country..
They have more players produced in Holland.

I wonder how many of them could've made the 23-man squad for Holland if they qualified... I remember the Algeria squad from 2014 having seven of their 23 players born in Algeria. Sign of the times with many families from Africa immigrating to European countries over the years.

Anyone thinking that Tunisia should be a walk in the park, think again:

    Decent breakdown.

No game England played during qualifying was a walk in the park and most probably didn't think this would be either:laugh: I wish I could see the full game just see how Tunisia was set up defensively. If they're open like that first goal they conceded then we'll have success because we got Sterling. However, if we're slow in build ups like we were in the Euros then that'll make things easy for Tunisia. Defensively we are seceptable to being lazy and can get picked off like we did against Italy.

Ultimately what I took away from the article is that if we give their attackers time to opperate then they'll do us in. So the simple solution is to press them, which we're okay at and not give their creative players much time on the ball. We can do that.

France currently beating Italy 3-1 and it's been a lively friendly. France are succeptable to counter-attacks, but man do they break fast when they get the ball in midfield.
