Would have loved to see President Obama turn to Speaker Ryan and say, "Scuse me while I whip this out," before handing him the copy of his speech before his last SOTU.
I would have loved to see Robert Mueller and the FBI roll in, just as the speech was ending, indictments in hand and arrest the whole criminal lot of them. It would have been the most dramatic moment in American history. Of course, that is not Mueller's way.
Because you merely have a human mouth. Trump has a "steady genius" orangutan mouth. It is more than human.
"Trust the Process"® (It has not improved anything, unless dumping Accam with no replacement is somehow an improvement)
We won’t sign any players of note this year. Schweinsteiger will retire at the end of this season and there will be no replacement. We will finish as wooden spoon winners and ownership won’t care. Hauptman won’t sell the team until forced to by the rest of the league owners which won’t happen for years. The Fire will remain completely and utterly irrelevant in the Chicago sports landscape.
He won't sell, he'll just follow Precourt's lead and move the team while blaming the fans for not being successful. All the while Don Garber and the rest of the owners will support moving the team because of "poor business metrics".
And yet people I respect on this board continue to throw their money at this team, organization, whatever you want to call it. I have lost faith in everything.
While the steaming quality of ESPN is excellent, I don't know why they continue to alienate the fan base. It's almost as perplexing as the fans of this team keep throwing money at this product.
Yes It's true some of us are going to the games...I boycotted for three years, potato ball and first Pauno year. My son however is finishing up high school and for me it was about spending time with him before he gets all growed up and moves on to whatever is next. So when I saw last year the signing of Dax and Juninho I got on board. I re-upped last fall to get my discount and that was the first time I've ever done that. Good to see Dax and Basti back and this new winger looks promising but yeah...not much else to get excited about. If no improvement I go back to supporting my record buying habit.
Was at the bar here in London this weekend and said I was from Chicago. The guy next to me said "Boy, the Fire really fell off the map. What the hell happened?" #HauptmanOut
It's amazing being on the other side and reading this. So quick to give this FO the benifit of the doubt. You want to hope, believe it'll be different next time. It won't.
Yeah I thhnt I hold out more for the people I'll miss off the field than on. I have an aunt in palos hills who will probably be like "why'd you stop visiting?" And I'd miss all the cool people ive met over the years. That being said ******** this garbage on the field. I went to Minnesota and the best part of that was sector Latino and surly brewing.
I’m in the saMe boat. Honestly, I love tailgating more than the game. I just can’t give this douchebag any more money.
