i remember bullen playing basically anywhere on the pitch, even in goal ... might as well be a good manager as well.
sounds as though Josh Onomah (on loan from Spurs) has put in a good performance today. actually, a good performance all around from what little I've read.
last minute own goal gives West Brom a point at the Hawthorns. after watching Spurs collapse over the last 20 minutes v Wolves, seeing that Wednesday had pissed away two points pretty much completes my day's shittiness. … oh wait, I still have to go to work. more shit to come …
Steven Fletcher scored in the 18th minute and Che Adams equalized in the 48th minute of your 1-1. You're in 16th and Birmingham City is in 8th.
apparently with chances to win it toward the end. just short of 30k at Hillsborough, as well. being New Years helps, of course, but there's gotta be a bit of a 'feel good' factor going on at the moment. not sure we'll ever know what Jos had been thinking week-to-week.
8 points in the last 4 ... They say Bullen won't be the manager full term but I'd like him to have a chance.
he's done well. and it certainly seems that the players have responded positively. I wouldn't mind seeing him given the rest of the season (and more if he does well), but word is that they've already brought in a couple of Steve Bruce's assistants and that him coming in after the holidays is a done deal. last year, after Carlos got the sack, they won Bullen's first game (Forest?), but then lost the next two badly, and everyone (Bullen included) was saying they couldn't get a new manager in quickly enough. of course, that new manager ended up being Jos Luhukay, so … anyway, Bullen wrote a book five or so years back called No Bull, basically about his time as a player and coach (to that point). I thought it'd be crap, but it's actually fairly interesting. he comes off as a likable bloke.
