Yes, Yes, and Yes.They now sit two entire matches behind Chiasso. They do have 9 more points against Chiasso this season, so they could eclipse them on those matches alone, they simply can not score a goal. They only have 3 goals all season! That is not good at all.
21 Sep LS - Aarau As a Servette fan, I hope Aarau wins this one. 22 Sep Schaffhausen - Servette Wil - Rapperswil-Jona Kriens - Chiasso 23 Sep Vaduz - Winterthur The bunch could tighten even more.
LS - Aarau 1-1 Aarau gets their first point of the season. They had about three or four other really good chances. @Arrows have a great night after this one!
Oh they so should have one this game! I think we are on our way to turning a corner! Just as a side I am playing this exact squad in FM19 (Football Manager for those who are not in the know)... we are 3-1-0 on 10 points top of the table and knocked off GCZ 1-0 in the Swiss Cup... so on paper this Aarau team should be better! As the computer sim proves.

I know! Bizarre table. I am not shocked by FC Wil being that high up. I posted last season that their was a change in attitude at that club... too bad they probably or can't get into the RSL next season if they finish first. Now Aarau is a complete shock to me. I honestly expected a mid table finish but I am staggered by this! Can anyone recall in recent years a team in either league that was supposedly too good to get relegated but did? My memory is shot... and relegation not for financial or stadium...license reasons. I guess FC Zurich was probably on paper too good? Any other teams though?
When FCSG was relegated about 5 years ago, maybe more, they were too good to be relegated. I think that if Sion gets relegated this year it would be similar. Aarau is 1-1 at the Half right now, so maybe things are looking good for their first win. Sevette is dominating Kriens, but can not score. It reminds me of when they were in the Premier League, and teams would drop 10 players behind the ball to play for a draw. That being said, Kriens should have a 0-1 lead, but on a counterattack their forward mishit it badly. I think that Aarau will close the gap on Chiasso.
2-1 in the 78th! Could this be it! Yes I recall that FCSG team they were too good. I guess when you are looking at a small 2 tier league like ours their is always a good chance a "too good" team will go down.
Frustrating day for Servette, this is sounding like a broken record. Since Nsame was there, they do not have anyone that will put the ball into the net with any consistency. 2nd Draw in a row, both very frustrating to watch. 25 Sep Aarau - Schaffhausen 3-1 Chiasso - RJ 0-1 Servette - Kriens 1-1 Today I am pulling for Vaduz and Winterthur. Congrats on the first win of the season to Aarau!

Goalscoring leaders: 7 - Miguel Castroman - Schaffhausen 6 - Aldn Turkes - RJ 5 - Nico Siegrist - Kriens 4 - Simone Rapp - LS 4 - Carlos Silvio - Wil 3 - 6 players with 3 goals If you would like to see Servette's problems look no further than this. The most goals scored by a player is Kone and Alphonse, Chagas and Wuthrich, any guesses ... 2 each. While it is nice to have more than one person scoring, a team that hopes to contend for promotion needs someone who can score. I had hoped that Mychell Chagas who joined the team from RJ would be the one, but he has not done much at all. 5 Oct Schaffhausen - RJ 6 Oct Kriens vs Vaduz 7 Oct Chiasso - LS Aarau - Winterthur Servette - Wil If Servette wants to get back into the promotion chase, they need 3 points.
5 Oct Schaffhausen - RJ 1-0 Lots of chances for both teams in this match. 6 Oct Kriens vs Vaduz 2-2 Two PKs in the match and Vaduz scores two goals while down a man. 7 Oct Chiasso - LS 1-1 Aarau - Winterthur 2-3 Aarau had 4 yellow cards from the 67' until the end of the match. Servette - Wil 2-0 Servette gets the 2nd goal on an empty net as Wil had pushed everyone forward to try and get the goal. Bunched all over the place in the standings.
