Well, he now has been entirely clued in to what he must do to make himself a better player. All he has to do is become a decent 15-18 foot shooter, and his game goes to another level. And TONS of good, hard-working, committed players have been able to do that. It is up to him.

He will be fine. He can hit shots in training but still needs to work on his j obviously

U guys are hillarious, u flip flop over players etc one minute their amazing now you are ‘proven right’ about drafting him

His first year, under a coach also learning and they get to the semi finals in the conference and win 52 games

Also there is lots of space to bring in a top player and add shooters

Phillly will be good next year

No question. Philly will be fine, as will Simmons. Sky is the limit for him.

On another topic, Dwayne Casey has been fired by the Toronto Raptors.

Its the reason why I wonder how Lebron would fit with them.

Sure Lebrons shooting has improved, but what will they do with Simmons if they run an Embiid/James PnR?

Running a PnR with Simmons in James allows teams to switch.

Simmons will only be fine if he can stop being apathetic towards developing a shot. Besides that.. Sure.

LeBron got Dwayne out of there lmao. Toronto peaked.. I find it hard to believe that they can realistically run the east now with the emerging Celtics n Sixers rearing their heads.

28 point Celts lead with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd. Ouch.

Celts about to stand in everyone's way in the East. Young and real hungry.

This Rockets/GSW game so far ... 1 v 1, shoot a 3. 1 v 1, shoot another 3. 1 v 1, guess what .... shoot another 3. I mean, this is painful to watch. Lots of points will be scored, but damn, this is not basketball, but instead a 3 pt shooting contest. Ugh.

Draymond's reputation is beginning to precede him. He doesn't get the benefit of ANY calls.

Golden State has turned up the ball movement, and of course is imposing themselves on Houston as a result. Plus, Durant and that midrange shot ... he is working them!

What do you think about the whispers of Philly looking to pick up Paul George in free agency? That could change the equation, quickly.

Houston executing their gameplan well, but the Warriors can go to Durant whenever they wanted to and he'd generate a near-automatic look. And now they're pulling away pretty decisively.

I actually think this game turned, not on the three ball, but in the midrange. Durant's midranger has been the difference.

Yep, I pointed that out in a subsequent post. It is why I always felt like GS had the clear edge in this series. They pass better and get easy midrange shots. As well as they shoot the 3, they aren't utterly infatuated with it like the Rockets. The Rockets picked up three 24 second violations in the 1st quarter because they kept passing the ball out to take 3 pointers, instead of 15 footers. It was madness. Meanwhile, Durant was absolutely wearing the midrange out.

Agree. Even 3-on-1 = shoot a 3. If Curry stops attempting stupid 3’s and gets into the rhythm this could be a very short series.

I think it's safe to say that the Suns are going to draft Luka Doncic.

Doncic is a better prospect than Ayton anyways IMO.

Wow. This was UGLY tonight. Harden still can't cover a PB&J sandwich with a towel in his hand.

The Warriors are simply way too good when they aren't messing around to realistically give anyone else a chance.
