The names listed are clearly either in Buckle's doghouse, or got deleted from his cell phone. We haven't seen a couple of those guys in a long time.

I think this is gonna be an interesting off-season in regards to players choosing to move on. With NASL having their issues, there may be players that decide staying with USL and getting noticed by a "2" team is the better play to MLS.

I haven't been following very closely... so did Cole ever do anything of note? Will he be back or was that it for him?

I can't imagine Cole being back. He clearly is on his last legs (pun intended). He looked closer to scoring a knee replacement than a goal.

The only thing Cole ever did was score a PK in the shoot out. Honestly looked really slow and coming off injury, don't think he'll be back, nor would I be upset if he left.

Sounds like it. Not too surprising. It looked like he had fallen out of favor with the coach toward the end of the season.

On their own accord or not asked back? A mutual parting of ways?

Best of luck to Alvarez. Hate to see the fan favorites go.

Meh, Alvarez is a local kid but doesn't really add much to the team. It's looking like this squad will get turned over similar to last year.

He was great combining with RoRo and Braun, but never found a place in Buckle's system. Looks like the shipping out of possession-based players is continuing apace.

My nephew played with Mackenzie Pridham in high school and my two cousins played with him at Cal Poly. He was a good player back then but not sure if he really has what it takes to be a full fledged professional.

Is there a running list of 2017 roster signed and 2016 players gone for sure?

Not yet. I plan to but am waiting for an official announcement of who will not be back. The club has announced who've they've cut ties with (or vise-versa) before, though not yet this year.

It seems obvious that Guzman and probably Kiffe and Cole are gone, but who knows for sure?

If someone wants to go ahead and start a thread, don't wait for me.

Hmm... and are we sure that wasn't the illegal drug that just became legal last week? :giggle:
